Residence Architecture reminiscent of English manor homes of the 1600s. The exterior walls are a combination of stucco and decorative half-timbering. A substantial oak door surrounded by a stone Tudor arch and ornamental carvings greets visitors. Inside, exposed oak beamed ceilings, dark oak paneling, limestone archways and fireplaces, ornamental plastered ceilings, leaded-glass windows and decorative grillwork evoke medieval great halls. The quality of the craftsmanship and materials throughout every portion of the home served as a fitting reflection of the affluence of the Jeffrey family and the emerging Bexley community at that time.
